This is an illusion that can be performed almost anytime, anywhere. It uses no wires, strings, etc. It actually requires no extra props whatsoever.

The illustrations at the right show you the audience's point of view.

Figure 1 shows the start of the illusion. You stand a short distance from the audience as shown in figure 1. Then you slowly begin to rise up, off the ground as in figure 2. You can rise almost half a foot off the ground before slowly decending back to earth.

When performed correctly, this is as close to real magic as you can get!
